Childhood is a precious time when children are constantly changing and growing.
At Assumption Catholic Primary School every child is cherished and celebrated as an individual with their own unique talents and abilities.
Our 4 year old Kindergarten program for boys and girls is based on The Early Years Learning Framework in conjunction with the Western Australian Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines.
Our qualified early childhood educators deliver a high quality evidence based learning program, which encourages and facilitates the growth of the whole child.
Our Kindergarten program

We recognise parents as the first and most influential educators, and our Kindergarten program complements parents in their efforts to develop the faith of their children.
When can I enrol my child for Kindgarten?
Our school community is small with two classes for each year group. We suggest you enrol your child in advance for Kindergarten to avoid the disappointment of missing out on a placement.
Boys and girls attend our Playgroup from their first year until commencing full time schooling. They enrol for our Pre Kindy and / or Kindergarten between the age of 0 to 4 years old.
If your child’s birthdate is between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021, they will commence Kindergarten in 2025.
We do have limited placements available for children born between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 to commence Kindergarten during Term 3 or Term 4 of 2024.
Where and When is Kindergarten?
Kindergarten takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the school term between 8.45am and 2.55pm.
We have a designated early childhood area on campus which includes the Kindergarten classrooms and playground.
How much does Kindergarten cost?
We would like every child to have the opportunity to experience the wonderful education provided by our qualified teachers at Assumption Catholic Primary School. Therefore, the cost of our Kindergarten educational program equates to less than $9.00 per day.
